I will provide daily care of your pets with additional services for an extra fee. You may find a need for some of these services even if you are not going away, like the dog walking, veterinarian visit, or a trip to the groomer. I care for dogs, cats, birds, fish, and ferrets, but no reptiles! If you have another type of pet, please give me a call and we can discuss it.

While you are away I will treat your pets as if they were my own. If you have e-mail access, I will be glad to send you daily progress reports so you know how they are doing in your absence. Let me know if you'd like this service.

To arrange for service call at least one week before you're scheduled to leave town. During busy seasons, such as the summertime and holidays, call at least two weeks in advance. Payment is due on the 'Get Aquainted Visit'. At this time I will also have you fill out the necessary paperwork and I will pick up your keys. I'm sorry but at this time I do not take credit cards.

I will meet with you and your pet(s) to get acquainted before I watch them for the first time. There is no charge for this visit. If additional visits are requested before you leave home, you will be charged $17 per visit unless I am requesting it; if that's the case it will be free.

Each day I will visit your home as many times as you request. For dogs, I suggest three times per day. For cats, once per day unless they need, or you want them to have, special attention in which case, twice per day. Other services are also available (see below), for an additional fee.

I will feed and water your pets, give them medication (if necessary), let them out, scoop litter, bring in your mail, turn lights on and off, and open and close drapes/blinds. I will spend approximately 20 minutes per visit with your pets, to provide them with love and attention.

You must provide the appropriate collar and leash. Pet walking is available at an additional charge. Please call for rates.

Summer:
Due to our extreme summer heat, walks will be no more then 15 minutes and given in the AM only. Please remember that the heat is a serious threat to your pets. Keep this in mind when scheduling.

$13.00 per dog for 15 minutes. $20.00 per dog for 30 minutes. There may be a reduce rate for 2 dogs. It depends on the dogs. Call to discuss.

In the event of an emergency, I will transport your pet to the veterinarian you specify. Either the veterinarian or I will contact you as soon as possible, depending on the severity of the emergency.
